Core engagements
The stack we most often build and hand over: Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Mimir on your AWS, with OpenTelemetry and GitOps from day one.
LGTM migration on AWS
Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Mimir in your accounts with Terraform modules, environment separation, and GitOps promotion. Dashboards, recording rules, and alert routes with parity checks against the incumbent—Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, or Dynatrace—so cutover is measured, not guessed.
OpenTelemetry instrumentation
Standardize traces, metrics, and logs on OpenTelemetry collectors and processors: sampling, tail sampling, and routing you change without a vendor amendment. Pipelines stay portable after the engagement.
Platform engineering
CI/CD, secrets, backups, capacity plans, and incident playbooks in the same repositories as the stack. Runbooks written for pager duty so the platform stays operable when we leave.
Advisory and engineering
Shorter or adjacent scopes when you are not yet ready for a full stack migration—or you need a focused fix alongside an in-house team.
Observability cost and cardinality review
Map where the budget and samples go, flag cardinality and routing issues, and leave a short, prioritized set of 3–5 changes you can execute with or without us. Same posture as a migration: you keep the plan.
Alerting, SLOs, and on-call
SLO-based routing that pages on customer-impacting failure, not noise. Alert hygiene, review rituals, and on-call practices that reduce fatigue without hiding real incidents.
AWS infrastructure and cost
Reviews across ECS, EKS, Lambda, data stores, and network: right-sizing, reservation strategy, and reliability tradeoffs that lower AWS spend without a reckless reliability cut. Often paired with moving telemetry off commercial meters in the same account.
